Forgive the rush and probable decline into rant…not what I want to write about. Presuming on familiarity with the news of Kursk—3 bridges and Chechen and Russian Forces on the opposing side.

To state the obvious, the media has been celebrating the situation in Kursk as emblematic of future victory. Eventual Success.

I think it is more like a fish in a barrel situation has just been created—why I suspect a lot of Ukrainians don’t want to enlist. If Ukrainian Soldiers can’t go forward and there’s no escape, or, no way to provide resources, all the access avenues have been destroyed, what chance of victory is there?

The situation is a sign of defeat. Not prediction, eventuality.

Ukrainian President Zelensky asking for more weapons is futile. To do what? With what men? Ukraine is gone, one could see it was gone in last July. One could see that in JULY (actually last year). What a tragic waste of life. An absolutely evil waste of life.

People tend to refer to Prussian General Clauswitz in the context of the Russian method of attrition warfare. General Clauswitz’s methods, are considered yet no one mentions he was on Russia’s side, think Napoleon. The Victor’s methods tend to direct the narrative.

I posted Sun Tzu, the other day, the further resources have to be transported, the more likely defeat. Ukraine is the lesser power, anyway, also a Sun Tzu idea, and recognizing the US, on the other side of the planet, is providing weapons, the country was bound to lose.

And, it infuriates me because I don’t believe in killing People, the waste of life. Again, to point out the obvious, fighting on the n$#@ side in an immoral war means one will not be allowed to win.

Again, to point to the obvious, the Americans have NOT actually won an International War. They contributed a lot of weapons to WW2, but actual victory? They just really knew how to tell a Hollywood story—think Gore Vidal and the American art of advertising—they can sell a good line to anybody, remember ice to Eskimos?
