The Meaning of Canada's Relationship with China
Words are so interesting….
But, do they actually mean anything?
Right now, there is lots of news about the removal of HUAWEI from Canadian businesses:

Although, the point should be, the government is actually doing nothing to big corporations despite saying an awful lot. Mind, it is blowing up the business plans of smaller companies:
And, the really curious issue is the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Melanie Joly, talking about rebuilding Canada’s relationship with China:

Despite the HUAWEI ban which company was the original source of the strife between Canada and China.
Despite the lack of an appointment of an Ambassador to China since Dominic Barton’s resignation.
Despite a complete absence of awareness of ASEAN.
Despite a national unawareness of what’s going with the BRICS—Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, a trading block comparable to the EU. Well, actually, it’s much, MUCH, bigger and Argentina is joining, plus a few more African countries, so, it’s becoming HUGELY bigger.
And, really curious, despite China, India, and Brazil being accused of dumping steel and alloys because they are unsafe but UKRAINE being allowed to continue.
