Why would Russia AND China send Fighters to Alaska? Might it be rhetoric just typical of their constant demonization?

First, the story is from Reuters, an excellent example of the problems with capitalism, and which I am on the record as not trusting. My habit is to think they lie.
The writer of the article is based somewhere between Moscow and Beijing, Washington? Check the by-line for verification and the most obviously thing to note is the writer is in neither Alaska nor Northern Canada. So, obviously not witness to whatever is going on.

The latter is a press release from Colorado and my point is whatever is going on is being verified via radar NOT actual witnesses.
Information is also relayed on Twitter. So, spread of information is the intent, not a demonstration of verification.

It just extrapolates on Russia spying on us which Jens Stolltenberg of NATO warned about. Have I mentioned NATO is also collapsing? The real news is Turkey and its NATO membership which has been controversial since January, and probably more so since Palestine. I would think. And, Hungary’s weakening ties and Slovakia’s. No one has left but it getting harder to defend staying.
Yesterday, I wrote about the new trade route that by-passes Canada. To quote (just to prove I read it and to emphasize its importance): The so-called Middle Corridor is a 6,500-kilometer trade route connecting China to Europe through Central Asia and the Caucasus. Since 2022, it's been growing steadily, with trade volumes skyrocketing and new investments into things like ports and highways from investors in Europe, China, and the Middle East.
Begging the question, then, why would Russia buzz the Canadian or American coasts? China?
Did they really, or is this NORAD ‘screaming’ to demonstrate its relevance? As growing International Trade sequesters on the opposite of the planet, a lot of things are changing fast. In both importance and relevance.
That International Rules Based Order is gone, and only apologists pretend it still has validity.
Weapons sales will die off without threat of a conflict. Is this situation really just about money? Without an enemy a lot of companies are going to lose money.
I am always going on about Tony Seba and his metaphor of a snowball rolling downhill for the EV market; as things get bigger, they happen faster. The mantra explains what’s happening internationally trade wise.
Case in point, business is happening on the other side of the planet and concentrates on Asia, West Asia, Russia and extends to Africa, and is expanding. So, why would Russia or China look north to the markets, here, which are shrinking? The Americans have no money, so, it’s a bit ridiculous to argue market size. I’m on record about the Canadian population numbers being played with. But, we are smart. Except for the knuckleheads who couldn’t see this coming.
Why would jets buzz, here? Just so scary stuff is in the news?
